Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma

Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma is Senior Consultant (General & Laparoscopic Surgery) at Kapoor’s Kidney & Urostone Centre, Chandigarh. He completed his MBBS from Himachal Pradesh University. After that, he completed his M.S. and a Senior Residency in (General Surgery) from PGIMER, Chandigarh, DNB from NBE Delhi as well and working since 2011as Consultant ; HOD General Surgery for DNB residents. He had a wonderful experience working consecutively in one of the renowned institutes PGI (Chandigarh) for six years. During these six years, he performed various emergency surgeries including trauma as well as elective surgeries like gastrointestinal surgeries, hepato-pancreato-biliary surgeries, laparoscopic and breast surgeries, and also assisted many surgeries with other specialties. He has been independently doing all the laparoscopic surgeries including laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendicectomy, laparoscopic hernias, laparoscopic repair of duodenal perforation and total laparoscopic hysterectomy in Vivekanand Medical Insitute Palampur (Unit J P Hospital Noida) for the last two and a half years. He had also worked as Assistant Professor in Govt. Medical College. He has had many publications in various National and International Journals.
